Finding Serenity

As we get closer and closer to the election, we are seeing more and more smear tactics by the McCain campaign. As I am not surprised- I really do not put anything past McCain to try and gain lost ground with the people of the U.S., however I did lose even more respect for him. One of the things I did respect about McCain is his bravery as a POW and a Vet. However how can a man who showed such bravery in the past act like such a teenage girl now? Let’s look at the strategy-Both McCain and Obama would like to be presidentObama is surpassing him in the polls. Mccain’s campaign stoops to personal attacks =In order to get people to like him more he spreads rumors or makes up storiesNow let’s look at what happens with the girls at the high school where I work: Danielle & Michelle want to be John’s girlfriend. John starts to like Michelle more than Danielle so she starts to spread rumors so maybe he will like her more.  Sound familiar? Is he serious? Does he really believe that  the American people are that stupid to be sidetracked by the ads he is putting out? How can anyone respect a man who refuses to look another man in the eye.  I think Biden hit it on the head with his speech the other night- Because  in my neighborhood too when you have something to say- you look the man in the eye and you say it.  So John man up a little bit here please - say what you have to say out loud -don’t wait until you are with your clique at your rallies to run your mouth. Put your big boy pants on and let’s hear it next time your face to face with the man- if not at least give the American people some respect and stick to the issues.   Should we expect more from the self titled Maverick?  Or is he falling in line to exactly how Bob Casey summed him up when he said how can you call yourself a  Maverick -when you spent the past 8 years as Bush’s sidekick?
