Learning To Forgive Yourself…

Published by cdbase7211 at 10:14 am under Uncategorized Edit This

 It isn’t always enough,

to be forgiven by others..

Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

We are our own worst critics.  It seems that we can beat ourselves  up forever over some wrong decisions that we have made. However, we can be so forgiving of others who have transgressed against us. While forgiveness of others is good -it is important to let ourselves off the hook.  If not we will constantly spend our lives trying to compensate for what  we have not done instead of maximizing on our strengths and the positive things we have done. Always keep in mind you cannot change your past-and cannot undo what is already done- you can only make tomorrow better

It is always hardest to forgive ourselves, isn’t it. Sometimes it can take years to do so. We just have to keep working through it and maybe look at it from a different point of view.
